IB Program Team & BU MBA Delegates Visit Meto Home

On the morning of 12 June, recommended by Hangzhou Tourism Commission and as ‘Hangzhou International Tourism Visiting Point’, Meto Home Group received representatives of the International Scholar Laureate Program and Boston University MBA students from the United States. Marketing Director Wu Shuguang introduced the development history and core competitiveness of the company to the members of the study and exchange group, who showed great interest in the operation mode of ‘headquartered in China, production base in Vietnam, and sales in the world’ of Meto. At the same time, they praised us for insisting on the use of our own brand in the sales in the United States. The exchange session was very lively with many people speaking and asking questions.

The International Scholar Laureate Program selected elite college students to study and exchange in China in 2011. The members of this group are college students from various states of the U.S. with technical majors, and a large portion of them are studying electronics/computer majors. Participating in the international programme is an opportunity to learn about the development of the same industry in the international arena.

At the same time, these American college students, who will soon go out into the world, also want to learn about the development prospects of various countries. As one of the fastest growing developing countries in the world, China is attracting more and more attention from young Americans across the ocean. However, the American young generation lacks understanding of China. Another purpose of this exchange programme is to educate the American young generation, to change their perception of China, to cultivate their friendly feelings towards China, and to let more American young people know about China.
