Providing a "Health Shield" for Women and Children

On 20 November, the living room of the CPPCC Committee of Metong Aromatherapy was full of friends and laughter, more than 20 women and children's medical institutions, financial and industrial sectors of the people here held a symposium focusing on the high-quality development of women's and children's health work, and to support the ‘health umbrella’ for women and children as the theme.

Provincial CPPCC member, ZJU Women's Health Hospital, director of the Department of gynaecology three, doctor of medicine, professor, doctoral, China Maternal and Child Health Research Society Menopausal Health Special Committee, the Democratic Revolutionary Party Committee of Zhejiang University, vice-chairman Zhou Jianhong and other members of the meeting hall members to participate in the seminar.

Leader of the parlour, Xu Li, a member of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), president of Hangzhou Women's Enterprises Association, president of the city's Leisure Development Promotion Association, and chairman of the board of directors of Zhejiang Meto Aromatherapy Science and Technology Co.

The symposium discussed maternal and child health issues of common concern to women and put forward three suggestions: to build a ‘one-stop’ service during pregnancy to meet the growing and diversified health needs of women and children; to build a protective barrier for women's health with ‘two cancers’ screening; and to accelerate the pace of building a new smart hospital with special outpatient services to serve women and children in an effort to achieve ‘good pregnancy, safe childbirth and good parenting’. The new smart hospital should speed up the pace of construction, set up special outpatient clinics, build speciality hospitals, serve women and children, and strive to achieve ‘excellent pregnancy, safe birth and good parenting’.

Professor Zhou Jianhong answered the questions raised by the audience on the conception of a healthy new life, the protection of maternal and child safety, scientific parenting, and the prevention of children's diseases.

Chairman Xu Li shared his idea and vision of applying aromatherapy to the field of women and children's health on the topic of ‘Aroma for the Asian Games’, which is of great interest to all of us.
